For the Peppers
- 6 bell peppers (red, yellow, or green)
- 1 tbsp olive oil

- 1 lb (450g) ground beef
- 1 cup cooked rice (white or brown)
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup crushed tomatoes
- 1 tsp paprika
- ½ tsp cumin
- ½ tsp oregano
- Salt & pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce (optional)
- ½ cup shredded cheese (mixed or cheddar)

- 1 to 1½ cups shredded cheese (cheddar + mozzarella blend)
- Fresh parsley or green onions for garnish
Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Bell Peppers
- Slice the tops off the bell peppers and remove seeds.
- Lightly brush the inside with olive oil and sprinkle salt.
- Pre-bake the peppers at 375°F (190°C) for 10 minutes to soften slightly.
Step 2: Cook the Filling
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Add onions and sauté until soft.
- Add garlic and cook briefly.
- Add ground beef and cook until browned.
- Add crushed tomatoes, paprika, cumin, oregano, salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce.
- Stir in the cooked rice and ½ cup shredded cheese.
- Simmer for 3–4 minutes to blend flavors.

- Spoon the hot beef-rice mixture generously into each pepper.
